The Montrose Suite is in the Third Nest, a triplex built in 1938.  It still has its prominent architect’s plaque:  a peaceful, quietly elegant, strong, back-in-time, two-story brick and wood Southern Saltbox.

It’s an upstairs, two-bedroom apartment, all hardwoods, one bath, living, dining and kitchen:  about 1300 sq. ft. The beds are: a queen in the Master/Mistress bedroom, and twin beds in the second bedroom.  There is a chaise longue in the living room that can be used as a bed for a child.  Please let us know if those are your plans so we can set it up for you.  All fabrics are high-end, and custom made for the Inn.

In its long, narrow back yard, it has an intimate sitting area snuggled up to its huge, many-decades old Oleander Tree, that was once a bush.

The apartment includes an in house washer and dryer as well as a complete kitchen. Its attached garage is adjacent to the kitchen so you can traverse the two inside the apartment.

It’s a private space, practically noiseless in the inner city:  honeymoon, weekend getaway or a long-term, extended stay for family vacations, or corporate business.  Robin’s Nest is in Houston’s Museum and Arts District, blocks away from Downtown Houston.  The neighborhood is also called Montrose, with ample restaurants within walking distance, bars, museums, art galleries, theater, public transport, etc.  The Montrose Museum District is a small town within the fourth largest city in the U.S.
